About the role

As a Client Adviser, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients through a combination of phone-based and in-office advisory conversations.

You'll work with clients to understand their goals, explain their options and provide clear, compliant financial advice across KiwiSaver, retirement and investment products.

This is a performance-focused position where success will be measured across client retention, portfolio growth, activity, advice quality and client satisfaction.

You'll also work closely with BDMs, Sales, Customer Services, Product and other internal teams to ensure clients receive a seamless experience.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver strong client outcomes.
  • Stay across regulatory developments, industry trends and changes within the investment and retirement market.
About you

You'll ideally already have experience within wealth management, KiwiSaver, investments, retirement planning or financial advice and be comfortable managing a busy portfolio of clients.

You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience providing financial advice or managing financial services client relationships.
  • A strong understanding of KiwiSaver, investments and retirement products.
  • Experience working with complex or higher-value client relationships.
  • A demonstrated ability to grow and retain a client portfolio.
  • Confidence conducting advice conversations over the phone and in person.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities within an existing client base.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex financial concepts simple.
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • A results-focused mindset and comfort working toward defined KPIs and activity targets.
  • A genuine focus on delivering quality client outcomes.
  • A relevant New Zealand financial advice qualification, with the ability to provide regulated financial advice.
