Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Sole Charge Branch Manager to run a busy Christchurch branch. You will deliver high levels of customer service, support in-house sales, and coordinate service requirements across production and purchasing to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You’ll be responsible for branch stock, facilities, displays, assets and health & safety, while following all branch processes and procedures. Autonomy and hands-on leadership are key.

Qualifications

• Experience in branch management, sales, customer service or a similar role.
• Confident working autonomously and taking ownership of a branch.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify sales opportunities.
• Organised with attention to detail around stock, systems and administration.
• Comfortable with SAP or similar systems.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sole Charge Branch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy branch. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, supporting in-house sales, coordinating service requirements and ensuring the branch is operating efficiently and professionally.

You’ll be the key point of contact for customers visiting the branch, taking ownership of enquiries from initial contact through to resolution. You’ll also work closely with internal teams across sales, service, production and purchasing to ensure customers receive a seamless experience.

This role will see you taking responsibility for branch stock, facilities, displays, company assets and health & safety, while ensuring all branch processes and procedures are followed.

About You

• Has previous experience in branch management, sales, customer service or a similar role
• Is confident working autonomously and taking ownership of a branch
• Has strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Is commercially minded with an ability to identify sales opportunities
• Can confidently coordinate service, repairs and customer requirements
• Is organised with strong attention to detail around stock, systems and administration
• Is comfortable working with SAP or similar systems
• Is practical, proactive and happy to be hands-on
• Has excellent communication skills and a professional approach
