Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is looking for a Renewable Energy Business Development Manager who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping customers find the right solar solution for their needs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, results-driven, capable of self-generating leads (cold calling), and able to develop strategic partnerships while maintaining a hunter mentality. Travel across Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga as required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in solar or renewable energy.
• Self-motivated and commercially driven.
• Experience in cold calling and lead generation.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Knowledge of solar solutions and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Generating new sales through calls, email, referrals and networking.
• Meeting with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy needs.
• Recommending tailored solar solutions and preparing quotes and proposals.
• Managing your sales pipeline and following opportunities through to close.
• Building strong customer relationships and creating referral opportunities.
• Working alongside technical and installation teams to deliver a great customer experience.
• Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
