Job summary

Think Solar Group in New Zealand is looking for an installer who wants to quickly progress onto an Electrical Apprenticeship. You will install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties, working with a supportive team to deliver top-quality installations.

Ideal candidates have completed an electrical pre-trade or have hands-on tool experience, a valid NZ driver's license, and a keen interest in renewable energy. Training opportunities and career growth await.

Qualifications

• Have completed an electrical pre-trade or relevant on-tool experience.
• Good practical skills with a keen eye for detail and dedication to doing great job.
• Problem-solving and taking accountability.
• Comfortable with working at height and in all weather conditions.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s license.
• Genuine interest for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Willingness to commit to an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, racking and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties
• Work in a small team of with a qualified electrician and team leader
• Provide exceptional customer service during installations, addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles to ensure operational efficiency
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
