Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of solar panels, mounting systems, and cabling on residential and commercial projects.
• Support electricians and installers to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, organise, and prepare installation materials and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and site safety.
• Complete installation documentation and job records accurately.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives and toolbox talks.
• Assist with warehouse, logistics, and operational support as required.
• Contribute positively to team performance and site operations.

As a Solar Installer, you’ll work alongside experienced installers and electricians to deliver high-quality residential and commercial solar installations across New Zealand. This hands‑on role involves working outdoors, preparing and installing solar equipment, supporting project delivery, and maintaining exceptional safety and workmanship standards.
