Job summary

ASB Bank in Albany, Auckland is seeking a Senior Software Consultant to drive automation on Pega across our customer-facing and backend platforms. You will design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions, mentor engineers, and lead technical initiatives within the Customer Tribe.

Ideal candidates have a Pega Lead Systems Architect certification with 8-10+ years of development experience, and a track record of delivering enterprise-scale Pega solutions with REST API integration and GenAI

Qualifications

• Pega Lead Systems Architect certification with 8-10+ years of Pega development experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong knowledge of Pega Constellation, AI-powered capabilities, GenAI tools, and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating Pega with enterprise systems using REST APIs, Kafka, and other integration technologies.

The Customer Tribe works across ASB Bank to drive automation for a variety of initiatives through specialist software like Pega. The tribe is a mix of collaborative experts who simply love enabling automation, making life easy for ASBers and our Customers. As a Software Consultant, you'll be part of our team that is responsible for technical development to a range of projects on Pega Platform across our Tribe.

Our Ideal Applicants Will Demonstrate

• Pega Lead Systems Architect (LSA) certification with 8-10+ years of Pega development experience, including 2+ years’ experience operating at Lead System Architect level
• Deep expertise designing and delivering enterprise-scale Pega solutions across complex environments
• Strong knowledge of Pega Constellation, AI-powered capabilities, GenAI tools, and modern architecture patterns
• Experience integrating Pega with enterprise systems using REST APIs, Kafka, and other integration technologies
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
