Only Ur's Limited in Dunedin, New Zealand seeks an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily front‑of‑house and operations of our Indian restaurant. This hands‑on supervisory role manages staff, service quality, stock and customer experience during shifts.

The role requires a NZ Register Level 2 diploma (or equivalent) or at least one year in a supervisory role, strong communication and leadership, LCQ eligibility, and weekend availability. Minimum 30 hours weekly; pay NZ$25.00–$28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• NZ Register Level 2 diploma (or higher) in hospitality/retail, or related experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• LCQ must hold or be eligible; weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt service and quality food and beverages.
• Plan staff work schedules, rosters, and assign duties.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and promote staff; resolve issues.
• Instruct staff on handling difficult customer service situations.
• Take stock of supplies and order new stock; ensure correct pricing.
• Enforce health, safety and security procedures.
