Job summary

Brownie Construction in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a large-scale 92-townhouse development and take ownership of day-to-day site activities. You will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate subcontractors, planning, procurement and ensure safety, quality and on-program delivery.

The role offers a full-time schedule in a busy regional project with long-term opportunities within Brownie Construction's Queenstown pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Working Foreman.
• Strong commercial or residential construction experience.
• Able to read plans and keep projects progressing to programme.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Practical, proactive and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the construction site.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Assist with short-term planning and construction sequencing.
• Manage short lead-time material procurement and deliveries.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain programme and productivity.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a safe, organised and well-run site.
• Liaise with suppliers, consultants and other stakeholders as required.
• Support site reporting and documentation.

About the role

Brownie Construction is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Queenstown.

This is a site leadership role where you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of a large-scale 92-townhouse development. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll oversee subcontractors, coordinate site activities, manage short-term planning and procurement, and ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

You'll be joining an experienced team with a healthy pipeline of work across the region and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering quality projects.
