Kaingaroa Tipu Limited in Rotorua is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Kaingaroa Forest log processing site. This practical, hands-on leadership role works with employees, contractors and internal teams to coordinate activity and resolve issues while ensuring safety, quality and value recovery.

You will drive continuous improvement, lead through influence, manage contractors, and promote a culture of care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or practical experience.
• Experience leading operations in a complex site, production, processing or yard environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, operational risk and compliance.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead safe, efficient and compliant site operations.
• Coordinate production, yard activity, stock and operational priorities.
• Monitor performance and resolve safety, quality and delivery issues.
• Manage relationships and performance with contractors and service providers.
• Oversee site systems, infrastructure, maintenance and improvement projects.
• Support product quality, inventory accuracy and value recovery.
• Coach employees and contractors to build capability and accountability.
• Promote a culture of care, collaboration and continuous improvement.
