Job summary

Scientific & Technical Recruitment is partnering with a NZ manufacturing business to appoint a Site Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the NZ Operations Manager, you’ll lead production performance, KPIs and resourcing while upholding site standards and safety.

You’ll be a visible, collaborative leader on the shop floor, skilled at solving problems, driving continuous improvement and supporting key projects. Hours are Monday–Friday, typically 6.00am–2.30pm, with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing or production leadership experience.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Practical, adaptable and solutions-focused.
• Comfortable working with KPIs, targets and changing priorities.
• Professional, approachable and willing to learn.
• Mechanical/plant knowledge is advantageous.
• A leader who is collaborative, grounded and keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and production performance.
• Monitor KPIs, production targets and resourcing.
• Oversee site compliance, maintenance and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational projects.
• Support the NZ Operations Manager and wider leadership team.
