Job summary

Beon Energy Solutions Pty in New Zealand seeks an experienced Field HSE Advisor for the Te Rahui Solar Farm project in Rangitaiki. This site-based role provides practical health, safety and environmental support across construction projects.

Reporting to the HSE team, you will implement site plans, lead inspections and investigations, coordinate inductions and training, and foster a proactive safety culture with project teams across New Zealand.

Qualifications

Qualified in Health & Safety (NZ Certificate Level 4 or equivalent recognised HSE qualification).
Minimum three years' experience in a site-based HSE role within construction, civil, utilities or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline HSE leadership, coaching and support to workers, contractors and project teams.
Implement and maintain project HSE management plans, site safety plans and safe work procedures.
Lead site inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
Monitor HSE performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Review risk assessments, permits and controls for high-risk construction activities.
Support worker engagement through inductions, toolbox talks, pre-starts and HSE committee participation.
