Job summary

Premier Construction Group Limited is seeking a Site Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team at the Oamaru, Otago site. You will drive maintenance, asset management and continuous improvement to maximise plant efficiency.

Experience in manufacturing, food processing and leadership is essential; strong communication with production and safety emphasis is required. This is a full-time on-site role based in Oamaru, NZ.

Qualifications

• Min. 10 yrs maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Min. 5 yrs experience in food processing site.
• Min. 3 years in a maintenance leadership role.
• Proficient with CMMS systems & be computer savvy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership & development to the engineering team.
• Manage maintenance budgets (R&M & capital projects).
• Be instrumental in planning, cost control & long-term forecasting.
• Driving continuous improvement & asset management for plant efficiencies.
• Ensure effective communication, reporting & alignment with production.
