Job summary

JobAdder Operations Pty in New Zealand is seeking a Site Engineer who can take technical ownership of a complex process plant, troubleshoot issues and drive improvements across the facility in South Auckland. You will work across mechanical systems, SCADA and controls, process safety and capital projects while delivering tangible performance gains and safer operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or trade qualification required.
• Hands-on experience in a complex industrial environment preferred.
• Exposure to SCADA/PLC/control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across plant engineering, reliability and process optimisation
• Develop knowledge of SCADA, PLC and control systems and support improvements
• Troubleshoot plant issues and identify opportunities to improve stability, uptime and performance
• Plan and manage shutdown activities, preventative maintenance and minor capital projects
• Support process safety, HAZOPs, pressure equipment compliance, inspections and engineering standards
