Job summary

Barkers and Max in Auckland is seeking a hands-on Shopify & Ecommerce Platform Specialist to manage day-to-day operations of two brands' online stores. You will do front-end development, admin, apps, integrations, testing and platform improvement, while translating business needs into reliable customer-facing solutions.

You will work with our Group CDO, eCommerce Managers, Marketing and CRM teams, and our specialist Shopify agency to ensure releases are well scoped, tested and delivered, and to

Qualifications

Hands-on Shopify administration and front-end development experience.
Experience with Shopify apps, integrations and troubleshooting.
Understanding of retail eCommerce operations and platform ownership.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical work.
Familiarity with analytics, conversion optimization and SEO.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day technical operation of Barkers and Max Shopify stores.
Front-end development including theme changes, landing pages, templates.
Configure and administer Shopify apps and integrations.
Review apps for performance, cost, and functionality improvements.
Coordinate releases and testing with internal teams and external agency.
Lead functional, regression and UAT testing prior to releases.
Document platform processes and maintain app/integration docs.
Support campaigns, promotions and time-sensitive trading activities.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and translate requirements into briefs.
