The opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised Shop Link and Inventory Controller to join our busy manufacturing plant. This role would be ideal for someone with strong planning and analytical skills who enjoys a busy and hands‑on role within the inventory management space. Take responsibility for entering drawings into Shoplink, creation and management of the cycle count process and investigating of stock discrepancies.

This is a varied and strategic role and as such you will establish close working relationships with internal and external customers. You will work closely with the Production Planner to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved in the flashing department. Collect printed flashing shop orders, locate and attach flashing drawings. Check and review flashing drawings to ensure that measurements and angles are legible and achievable.

About you

• At least 2 years’ experience in inventory and purchasing.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate stock discrepancies.
• Computer‑savvy and skilled in BPCS or similar ERP system.
• Be immaculate with communication, as you will deal with many stakeholders.
• Be someone who can make smart commercial decisions and work well in a small team environment.
