Job summary

PB Technologies in Hastings, NZ is expanding and seeking 6-7 Shop Assistants to join our new Hastings store. Roles are full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) across retail sales, customer service, cashiering, and warehouse operations.

You will deliver outstanding customer experiences, handle transactions, support stock management, and maintain a clean store. Strong product knowledge and good English communication are essential; weekend and public holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in retail, customer service, warehouse, or cashiering roles.
• Strong IT product knowledge is preferred; being a hard-core gamer is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Retail Sales: deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets using strong product knowledge.
• Customer Service: greet customers, assist professionally, uphold PB Tech’s service standards.
• Checkout Operations: handle cash, invoicing, credit payments, exchanges, refunds, and credit notes.

Requirements
