Shop Assistant – PB Tech Hastings (New Store Opening)

As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce the opening of our Hastings branch! We’re looking for full-time Shop Assistants to join our team and help make our new store a success. Key Responsibilities

• Retail Sales: Meet and exceed sales targets by providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge, helping customers make informed purchase decisions, and processing transactions accurately at the register.
• Customer Service: Ensure a positive in-store experience by greeting all customers promptly, assisting them in a friendly and professional manner, and maintaining a high standard of customer service in line with PB Tech’s values.
• Checkout Counter: Accurately process sales transactions (cash, invoice, credit) and handle exchanges, credit notes, and refunds according to company policies.
• Shop Maintenance: Assist with stock management in the warehouse and showroom, including receiving deliveries, labeling, stocktaking, and general housekeeping duties to ensure a well-organized store environment.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Retail Sales or Customer Service Experience: At least one year experience in retail, customer service, warehouse, or cashier roles.
• Tech Savviness: Strong IT product knowledge is preferred—being a hard-core gamer is a big plus!
• Excellent Customer Service Skills: You’ll be passionate about providing great customer experiences and resolving queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Great Communication Skills: You’ll need strong verbal and written communication in English to interact with a wide variety of customers.
• Tech Passion: A genuine interest in technology, with a drive to keep learning and growing in the field.
• Team Player: A positive, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required in a retail environment.
