Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group at Auckland Airport is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a high-volume sales and customer service team in a full-time role. The position focuses on service-based sales, staff training, and profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

The role of the Shift Supervisor is responsible for staff training and development and overall profitability of a high volume airport including:

• Service based sales management
• Staff training, development, coaching and corrective action
• Sales and financial reporting
• Staff performance management and team building to achieve sales & service objectives
• Maximise incremental sales through effective training and staff development
• Work closely with management and department leaders

To be considered, you should possess:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
• Car rental experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
• Confident using computer systems and technology
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
• Valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record
• Full working rights in New Zealand (current and ongoing)
• A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude!
