Job summary

Season's Best Ashburton is seeking a Shift Engineer to join our team at the vegetable plant. This permanent, full-time role covers 12-hour night shifts (18:00–06:00) on a 4-on, 4-off roster. Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.

You will support maintenance planning, document control, and be the day-to-day contact for production and services equipment while upholding HACCP and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of production procedures and maintenance practices.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Computer literate with capability in MS Office, MS Teams, Deputy etc.
• CMMS experience (highly advantageous) (Upkeep).

Responsibilities

• Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Chief Engineer / Head Engineer or others as the needs of the business requires.
• Accurately maintaining all documentation and records, both written and electronic.
• Being a point of contact on all day-to-day maintenance issues for the production equipment and any other services equipment.
• Ensuring company documented procedures and business rules are conformed to.
• Taking ownership of quality system, food safety and HACCP program.

About the role

We are looking for a Shift Engineer to join our Team at our Ashburton Vegetable plant. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 12-hour Night shifts (18:00 - 06:00), following a 4-on and 4-off roster. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications.

As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Chief Engineer / Head Engineer orothers as the needs of the business requires.

• Being a pointof contact on all day-to-day maintenance issues for the production equipmentand any other services equipment.
