Job summary

Talley’s Group Limited in Motueka is seeking an Engineer to maintain and repair plant equipment, minimize downtime and boost plant efficiency. The role is on-site at our Motueka site, with responsibilities across day-to-day maintenance and reporting via our software system.

• FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience advantageous.

• Day-to-day maintenance of the plant.
• Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based system.
• Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal.

About the role

You will be responsible forperforming maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimize downtime andimprove overall plant efficiency while maintaining a high standard of health andsafety.

Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $45, based on your experience and qualification, On call allowances

As an Engineer, you will beresponsible for:

• Day-to-day maintenance of the plant
• Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through thesoftware-based system
• Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal
• Maintaining relationships with the internal and externalstakeholders
• Following the health and safety/food safety procedures

For this role, you’ll need:

• Mechanical/Maintenance Engineeringexperience
