Job summary

Season's Best Limited is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join our Ashburton Vegetable plant. This permanent, full-time role operates on 10-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with remuneration based on experience and qualifications.

You will receive training, great working conditions, and gear and PPE provided, as we maintain HACCP and food-safety standards across a 100% New Zealand owned company with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering Level 4 or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Engineering Manager / Head Boilerman or others as the needs of the business requires.
• Being a point of contact on all day-to-day forklift and freezer shuttle issues.
• Ensuring company documented procedures and business rules are conformed to.
• Taking ownership of quality system, food safety and HACCP program.

About the role

We are looking for a Forklift Mechanic to join our Team at our Ashburton Vegetable plant. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working a 10-hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:00) from Monday to Friday. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications.

As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Engineering Manager / Head Boilerman or others as the needs of the business requires.
