Job summary

Alliance Group Limited in Invercargill is seeking a proactive Shareholder & Customer Services Representative to support shareholders, suppliers, customers and internal teams. You will handle enquiries, resolve issues, and maintain master data for the Livestock Division.

You will collaborate with Livestock Representatives and processing sites to ensure timely, accurate service and support GN stakeholder needs. Attention to detail and problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confidence handling enquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer, shareholder, and supplier enquiries across multiple communication channels.
  • Taking ownership of issues and complaints through to resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and shareholder records and master data.
  • Supporting store stock and grazing transactions.
  • Assisting with debtor follow-up activity where required.
  • Providing Farm Alliance administration support, including account setup and password management.
  • Acting as a key user for systems and processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Shareholder & Customer Services Representative to join our team.

In this role, you’ll provide professional, responsive, and knowledgeable support to Alliance shareholders, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. You’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of enquiries and play a key role in ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and solutions-focused service.

You’ll work closely with Livestock Representatives, Livestock Payments, processing sites, and other internal teams to resolve enquiries, maintain accurate shareholder and supplier information, and support the smooth delivery of services across the Livestock Division.

This is a permanent, full time role based in Invercargill.

Key Responsibilities Include

You’ll Bring

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and modern systems/ERP platforms
  • A customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem-s solving
  • The ability to adapt quickly to new systems, technology, and change initiatives
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Experience in the agricultural or red meat sector
  • Knowledge of sheep, beef, and lamb farming operations
  • Familiarity with industry requirements such as NAIT or OSPRI
  • Experience maintaining customer or supplier master data
