Job summary

Filtec Water market and manufacture technical equipment, systems and instruments, process technology, application engineering and project management for the water industry throughout NZ.

Based in Plimmerton, the team requires another service technician to join their team of 7.

You will be provided with full training and provided with a skills matrix to build on as this is highly specialised work.

Responsibilities:

• Servicing of equipment used in the water treatment process
• Commissioning of chemical metering equipment and other instrumentation
• Maintenance work on pumps, analysers, filters, UV and instrumentation
• There is scheduled travel shared amongst the team which can vary from the odd day to a couple of weeks/ month.

Skills and experience required:

• This is mix of mechanical and / or electrical work but it could be suitable for an EST qualified technician with experience in HVAC systems or calibration.
• A mechanical aptitude and curiosity.
• The ability to follow safety protocols and follow and record processes precisely
• A professional and pleasant demeanour - you will be on customer sites.
• A full and clean NZ license

You must be in NZ to apply for this position and have a valid work visa.

The salary starts at $80,000 plus ute and compensation for travel and is commensurate to your relevant experience.
