Drummond & Etheridge is seeking an experienced Service Technician to work on a range of agricultural, construction, forestry and golf/turf machinery. You will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Role involves travel to customer locations across the region, collaborating with the team while also performing tasks independently to ensure customer needs are met. Great customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

We’re looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our tight-knit team in our Cromwell and Invercargill branches. You’ll turn your hand to a range of Ag equipment as well as Construction, Forestry and Golf & Turf machinery, all while providing exceptional customer service to our clients in the region.

About You

You’re an enthusiastic Tech with strong experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of machinery.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Experience in service work on a broad range of Agricultural equipment and machinery;
• Qualifications in Diesel / Heavy Machinery Servicing;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• The ability to work well within a team and independently;
• A knack for problem-solving and persistence to deliver for our customers.

Apart from your technical know-how and nous, we are looking for an exceptional individual who is a strong team player who can adapt to any situation. The role will see you travelling to customer locations around the region as needed.

Rates/Hours of work:

Base hourly rates from: $35.00- $50.00, plus generous tool allowance and overtime.

Minimum of 40 hours per week.
