Job summary

Power Farming is seeking aSenior Service Technician in Morrinsville to service and repair tractors and agricultural machinery both in the workshop and on-site with customers. The role demands strong diagnostics, field experience and the ability to work independently.

You will support colleagues with technical knowledge, coach apprentices, and maintain high standards of customer service while representing the Power Farming brand professionally.

Qualifications

• A qualification in heavy automotive engineering, heavy machinery or a relevant mechanical trade.
• Solid hands-on experience with tractors and agricultural machinery, ideally including significant field service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with a sound understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• Confidence using diagnostic equipment, service systems and machine data to work through complex faults.
• The ability to work independently and manage customer expectations while representing Power Farming professionally.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• The experience and willingness to coach and mentor apprentices and service technicians.
• A full NZ Driver Licence, with Class 2 being an advantage.

About you:
