Job summary

thl (Tourism Holdings Limited) Auckland is seeking a fixed term full-time Service & Parts Advisor to manage service bookings, explain repairs and provide accurate cost estimates. You will coordinate with technicians, order parts, maintain inventory and support workshop scheduling to deliver timely, quality service.

Minimum 40 hours per week, 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday. A full New Zealand driver licence is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service, parts or customer service roles.
• Full New Zealand driver licence is required.
• Ability to explain repairs and costs clearly to customers.

Purpose of the Role:

This fixed term full-time Service & Parts Advisor, ensures customer satisfaction by managing service appointments, explaining repair needs, providing accurate cost estimates, and coordinating with technicians to deliver timely and quality service. Other responsibilities for this role include managing parts inventory, processing orders, and providing accurate and timely parts support to both internal departments (service and workshop) and external customers. This role ensures efficient parts supply to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Coordinate closely with technicians to ensure efficient service delivery
• Order, manage and supply parts for workshop and customer needs
• Provide accurate pricing, availability and product advice
• Maintain parts inventory, stock levels and system records
• Support workshop scheduling and ensure jobs are prepared in advance
• Ensure compliance with warranty processes and standards

You will bring:

• Experience in automotive service, parts or customer service roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details simply
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
• Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred)
• A full New Zealand driver licence

Hours And Days Of Work:

Minimum of 40 hours per week, working between 7am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.
