Job summary

Tourism Holdings Pty in Queenstown is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Rentals team on a fixed term, full-time basis. You will inspect and repair RVs, perform pre-hire checks, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for adventure.

Experience in RV maintenance is valued but not essential. A restricted driver’s license, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are required, with flexible hours including weekends and late shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair RVs to meet high safety and comfort standards.
• Carry out pre-hire checks, interior and basic mechanical repairs, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for guests.
• Support stock takes, vehicle deliveries and guest check-in/check-out.
• Assist with on-road issues and data entry, and actively participate in Health & Safety processes.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help exceed operational goals.

Are you passionate about automotive mechanics and eager to work in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician's (RV Technician’s) to join our Queenstown Rentals team in New Zealand on a fixed term, full-time basis.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect and repair RVs to ensure they meet ’s high standards—keeping our rental guests safe and comfortable.
• Carry out pre-hire checks, interior and basic mechanical repairs, and ensure all vehicles are spotless and ready for adventure.
• Support the team with stocktakes, vehicle deliveries, and customer check-in/check-out.
• Assist with on-road issues and data entry, and actively participate in our Health and Safety system.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help us exceed operational goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance (RV)Technician or in a similar trade is valued, but not essential.
• A restricted driver’s license (minimum requirement).
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays, to work a rotating roster for 10 hours per day possibly consisting of weekends and late shifts 12pm-10:30pm
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality.
