Job summary

Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) seeks an enthusiastic RV Technician to join the Christchurch Rentals team in New Zealand for a fixed-term, full-time role during the peak season. Start dates are August, September and October 2026 with work through March 2027, supporting busy operations and ensuring RVs are well-maintained and ready for guests.

You'll perform inspections, pre-hire checks, and basic mechanical repairs, while collaborating with a team focused on safety, quality, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an RV technician or in a similar trade is valued, but not essential.
• A restricted driver’s license (minimum requirement).
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster for 10 hours per day.
• Multiple shift options available between the business operating time of 5:00am -12:00am Monday-Friday including weekends.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair RVs to ensure they meet high standards—keeping our rental guests safe and comfortable.
• Carry out pre-hire checks, interior and basic mechanical repairs, and ensure all vehicles are spotless and ready for adventure.
• Support the team with stocktakes, vehicle deliveries, and customer check-in/check-out.
• Assist with on-road issues and data entry, and actively participate in our Health and Safety system.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help us exceed operational goals.
