Job summary

Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) seeks a Service Manager for the Masterton District Court on a permanent, full-time basis. You will coach staff, drive high performance, and oversee service delivery to ensure quality and consistency across the team and service area.

Service Manager - Masterton District Court

Te Haeata/The OpportunityWe are seeking a leader to fill a Service Manager vacancy at the Masterton District Court on a permanent, full-time basis.This role reports to the Manager, Justice Services, Manawatu & Wairarapa.The Service Manager's primary focus is to coach and support employees to increase capability and build a culture of high performance. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services to improve operational quality and consistency across their team and wider Service Delivery Area.We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, people leader with demonstrated skill managing diverse teams. You will need to build and maintain effective and robust relationships with external and internal stakeholders and Judiciary. You will be expert at driving a high-performance culture where standardisation, consistency and accountability are underpinned by the values of respect, integrity, service and excellence. Utu ā-tau/Salary

The remuneration band for this role is $99,208 to $135,539 -the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
