Job summary

Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) is seeking a Caseflow Manager to lead the High Court Wellington team, overseeing the efficient disposal of High Court work within the Wellington circuit. Based at the High Court Wellington, you will report to the Court Manager and collaborate with OSB colleagues to deliver the ministry’s strategic outcomes.

Te Haeata/The Opportunity

The Caseflow Manager leads and manages the effective operation of their High Court Team and is responsible for the provision of efficient and effective support for the disposal of High Court work within their jurisdiction. The Caseflow Manager reports to the Court Manager and engages with Managers across all Courts, as well as with other parts of Operations and Service Delivery (OSD), to ensure services deliver the required outcomes and support the Ministry's strategy.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a leadership role. A person who is flexible, resourceful and resilient with strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills. Based at the High Court Wellington, the Caseflow Manager is responsible for the management of High Court work (criminal) across the Wellington circuit.

• Operational management experience, preferably in a customer service environmentExperience in or knowledge of Criminal Court procedures and legislation.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $98,208 and $126,683 based on skills and experience.
