Summit Recruitment Limited in Christchurch is seeking an experienced people manager to lead a team of nine service technicians across Christchurch and Nelson. You will drive best practice, champion internal systems to boost efficiency, and take ownership of service delivery with support from the leadership team.

While leadership is the focus, there will be hands-on fault finding and repair work to stay current with industry changes.

Make your mark as a great people manager in this key role

Are you an experienced people manager with a background in mechanical, electrical and/or electronic fault finding AND do you enjoy taking ownership of your role and making it your own? If so, this could be a great opportunity to lead a dynamic team of service technician with the support of the leadership team.

About the Role:

Leading and mentoring 9 technicians across Christchurch and Nelson you’ll empower the team to consistently deliver ‘best practice’ in everything they do.This will include championing the use of internal systems to boost efficiencies and pro-actively identifying opportunities to take the business forward.

While the focus will be on leading the team, there will be an element of hands-on fault finding and repair work to keep you up to date with changes in the industry, and build your knowledge across a wide range of products with full training provided.
