Job summary

Sime Motors, via Truckstops, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join the Albany service team. You will manage customer requirements for service and repair, book workshops, prepare job cards, and provide progress updates.

You will liaise with workshop staff, monitor progress, inform customers of delays, and ensure a high level of customer service. Open to those from service administration or mechanics seeking a new challenge.

The role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Service Advisor to become a key part of our busy and successful Service Team in Albany.

This rolewill see you managing customer requirements for service and repair, including,

• keeping the workshop fully booked and running efficiently
• opening & closing workshop jobs and preparing job cards
• communicating with the workshop team to provide customers with progress updates
• monitoring work-in-progress and updating customers on delayspreparing job cards for invoicing
• ensuring a high level of customer service

To be successful, you will need:

• a passion for customer service with a personable friendly manner
• sound verbal and written communication skills
• impeccable time management and organisational skills
• professional telephone manner
• computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
