Truck Stops (NZ) Ltd Tauranga is seeking an experienced Parts Assistant to support external customers and workshop operations by delivering timely, accurate aftermarket parts solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers and a dependable partner to technicians, ensuring parts requirements are met and updates are communicated proactively.

The role offers growth in sales and parts, with clear opportunities for leadership or product specialist paths, a supportive team, and a culture

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts management, including sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and invoicing.
• Ability to identify and drive Continuous Improvement within the Parts Department.
• Health and Safety oriented and willing to challenge breaches.

The Role

As an experienced Parts Assistant with Truckstops Tauranga, you will support both external customers and internal service operations by delivering timely, accurate aftermarket parts solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and a dependable partner to workshop technicians, you will ensure parts requirements are met efficiently, communicate updates proactively, and contribute to a seamless service experience. You will also strengthen existing customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and drive growth through consultative selling and value-added service.

• Comprehensive experience in automotive parts management, including sourcing and procurement, inventory control, product knowledge, supplying parts to support workshop operations, invoicing, and maximising sales opportunities through effective upselling and cross-selling
• Able to identify, implement and drive Continuous Improvement within the Parts Department
• Passionate about Health and Safety and not afraid to challenge breaches
