Job summary

Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Senior People Technology Analyst to support our Workday HCM solution and its integrations. This hands-on role involves problem solving across the full lifecycle, from analysis to delivery, in a collaborative, agile environment.

You will engage with stakeholders across People & Culture to resolve HR system issues, drive improvements, and ensure compliant, reliable HR technology services that enhance the colleague experience.

Qualifications

• Solid experience supporting an HR system, ideally with five years in a similar environment.
• Experience with Workday HCM across Core, Compensation, Time & Attendance, Performance and Learning.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Workday HCM and its integrations with downstream systems, including ADP Payroll.
• Collaborate with People & Culture to resolve complex HR system and business process issues.
• Analyse enhancement requests, recommend solutions and support agile delivery.
• Lead end-to-end resolution of bugs and system defects when needed.
• Help ensure compliance with legal, audit, and risk standards.
• Share knowledge with team members and coach others.
