Job summary

BNZ in Auckland is seeking a Senior People Technology Analyst to shape and support Workday HCM solutions. This hands-on role covers analysis, troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and optimisation, with strong stakeholder collaboration across the business.

You will provide Level 2 Workday HCM support, manage integrations and lead incident resolution, while driving improvements and ensuring risk and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting an HR system in a similar environment.
• Solid Workday HCM knowledge across Core, Compensation, Time & Attendance, Performance and Learning.
• Experience with integrations across multiple systems and incident management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Workday HCM and its integrations with downstream systems, including ADP Payroll.
• Analyse enhancement requests and support an agile delivery approach.
• Lead end-to-end resolution of bugs and system defects when needed.
• Help ensure compliance with legal, audit, and risk standards.
• Share knowledge with team members and support growth and development.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to solve complex issues, identify improvements, and deliver practical solutions that make a real difference to the colleague experience.You’ll work across the full solution lifecycle—from analysis and troubleshooting through to configuration, delivery, testing, and ongoing optimisation—while building strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business.**In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:*** Provide Level 2 support for Workday HCM and its integrations with downstream systems, including ADP Payroll.* Work closely with the People & Culture team to resolve complex HR system and business process issues that require specialist advice.* Analyse enhancement requests, recommend solutions and business process best practice, and support an agile approach to delivery.* Lead the end-to-end resolution of bugs and system defects when needed.* Help ensure compliance with legal, audit, and risk standards.* Share your knowledge with team members, identify coaching opportunities, and support the growth and development of others.**What will help you thrive in this role?**You’ll bring solid experience supporting an HR system, ideally with at least five years in a similar environment, along with a tertiary qualification in a relevant technical field.
