Job summary

NPAworldwide's Auckland-based multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeks an experienced Water Infrastructure Engineer to lead and deliver water, wastewater or stormwater projects. You will mentor engineers, review designs and steer teams to successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring a Civil/Environmental engineering background, 10+ years' experience, and strong client-facing leadership. Chartered status (CPEng) or progress toward chartership is valued.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in water infrastructure engineering.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating teams.
• CPEng or progress towards chartership would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading engineering design and delivery across water infrastructure projects.
• Providing technical guidance, design reviews and practical solutions.
• Managing projects from concept through design and construction.
• Coordinating engineers, technicians and other specialists.
• Managing project programmes, budgets and client expectations.
• Building strong relationships with clients, councils and contractors.
• Mentoring and developing engineers within the team.
• Helping improve technical standards, processes and project delivery.
• Contributing to the continued growth of the water infrastructure business.
