WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Principal Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineer in Auckland, NZ, to lead complex water and wastewater projects from concept through construction.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical deliverables, and drive client-focused outcomes with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a PE/CPEng track record (or progress toward) and 10–15 years of related experience, delivering high-quality designs and robust project leadership within a global professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Process, Civil or Mechanical.
• 10–15 years’ professional experience in water/wastewater.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards.
• Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership and review.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to professional standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior technical leadership on water and/or wastewater treatment projects.
• Lead and review investigations, feasibility studies, designs and technical reports.
• Apply sound engineering judgement across design, verification and peer review.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, clearly communicating technical solutions.
• Contribute to bids and proposals, including technical inputs and risk considerations.
• Mentor and support engineers and graduates, fostering a culture of excellence.
