Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Performance Specialist to help unlock smarter ways of working across our end-to-end supply chain. You will partner with teams to simplify complex processes, improve performance, and deliver meaningful change that supports customers, people and our future.

In this role you will lead process improvements, support transformation programmes, and use data to uncover opportunities that drive efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement, or supply chain operations.
• Proven improvements across end-to-end supply chain value streams (Order to Cash, Plan to Deliver, Procure to Pay).
• Experience with ERP platforms, ideally SAP, and familiarity with digital operational systems.
• Experience supporting transformation programmes, process redesign, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery.
• Strong process mapping/documentation skills using Visio, Signavio or Promapp.
• Strong analytical capability with Excel and Power BI for insights.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, lead workshops, and collaborate across teams.
• Knowledge of supply chain governance, project delivery, and SCOR is advantageous.
• Experience embedding digital processes and tools in operational contexts.
• Desirable: tertiary qualification and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and map end-to-end supply chain processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Partner with business and technical teams to design and implement future state processes.
• Gather and document requirements, process maps, workflows, and user stories for improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and human-centered design.
• Support major transformation programmes, including process redesign, system deployments, testing and training.
• Facilitate workshops, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive change capability.
• Develop SOPs, governance practices, and reusable process assets for sustainable performance.
