Job summary

PTL | Structural & Fire is seeking a senior structural engineer to join a dynamic team of structural and fire engineers. The role will be based in Queenstown as a satellite to our Christchurch and Auckland offices, offering the opportunity to lead and mentor a local team.

The candidate should have an internationally recognised degree, 5+ NZ-based years of experience, and be chartered or on track to gain chartership, with a proven leadership track in design and construction oversight.

Qualifications

• Have an internationally recognised tertiary degree in structural engineering.
• Have at least 5 years' NZ based experience.
• Be a chartered structural engineer or on track to gain chartership.
• Have a strong track record of leading the design and monitoring of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and monitor construction projects.
• Grow PTL’s Queenstown presence and mentor local engineers.
• Collaborate closely with Christchurch and Auckland offices to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
• Own delivery of high-quality client outcomes and build strong relationships.
