Strata Group Consulting Engineers, Hastings, is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Engineer to join our Hastings team. You will lead structural design for diverse projects, mentor staff, and advance your career within a supportive, multi-disciplinary firm.

Our team emphasizes collaboration, project leadership, and delivering high-quality engineering documentation while guiding clients and design teams through scope, timing, and budget considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (4-year)
• 3+ years of New Zealand work experience
• Proficiency in Spacegass or ETABs advantageous
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Structural design of residential, commercial and industrial structures from concept through consenting and construction.
• Seismic assessment and retrofit design of existing buildings from concept through consenting and construction.
• Site measure-up and construction monitoring.
