Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–6 years as a structural engineer focused on residential design in NZ.
• Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code and design standards.
• Experience in seismic design and detailing for timber/mixed material builds.
• Organised with practical problem solving and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design with emphasis on seismic performance.
• Prepare concept through detailed design documentation.
• Conduct on-site investigations and support construction delivery.
• Write technical reports and fee proposals.
