Job summary

Strata Group Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Hawke's Bay to lead land development projects from concept through consenting to construction. Based in Hastings, you will mentor staff and take ownership of projects while working within NZ regulations.

The team emphasises technical excellence and a down-to-earth culture, offering ongoing training and professional development as part of a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to manage projects and build client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of NZ standards, consenting and local authority processes.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading civil design for residential, commercial and industrial developments.
• Delivering land development projects.
• Managing client relationships, project teams and project financials.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and local authorities.
• Producing high-quality engineering documentation and reports.
• Overseeing contract management and construction monitoring.
