Job summary

Sorted Logistics in Christchurch is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement robust software for our Warehouse Management System and related integrations. You will collaborate closely with warehouse operations to translate real-world needs into scalable, maintainable code and reliable system interfaces.

The role is full-time and office-based at our new Head Office, with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) expertise and a solid understanding of the logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industry. This is an opportunity to work on business-critical warehouse management solutions, integrations, automation initiatives, and operational systems that directly impact real-world outcomes every day.

You'll join a highly collaborative team and play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing systems that support some of New Zealand's leading brands.

This is a full-time, office-based position located at our new Head Office on Waterloo Road, Islington, Christchurch. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hours worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Start and finish times can be negotiated within these operating hours.

• Understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, and transport management.
• Experience working with barcode scanning, RF technology, automation, or voice-picking solutions.
• Exposure to high-volume transactional systems.
