Job summary
Community Living seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead the Regional Intellectual Disability Supported Accommodation Service (RIDSAS) in New Zealand. You will guide teams delivering specialist support to individuals with complex needs, ensuring safety, quality, and rights-based practice while aligning with Nou Te Mana principles.
You will partner with the Care Manager to drive workforce planning, performance management, and service outcomes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams in disability, health, or related sectors.
- Ability to manage risk, compliance, and service quality in complex environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop teams delivering person-centred support.
- Oversee workforce planning, performance management, and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, legislation, and contracts.
- Partner with the Care Manager to support positive rehabilitation and wellbeing outcomes.
- Lead risk management, incident response, and safety practices.
- Monitor budgets, staffing and service performance; participate in on-call roster.
