Job description

  • First-Line Supervisor of Office and Administrative Support Workers
Senior Service Delivery Coordinator
Active + National Support Office

Active+ is the largest New Zealand owned supplier of rehabilitation services in New Zealand, with over 1,500 health providers across a wide range of disciplines delivering service across New Zealand. We've been in business since 1990 and are owned by Southern Cross Healthcare New Zealand.

As our Senior Service Delivery Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered smoothly, accurately and to a consistently high standard. Taking ownership of a portfolio of services, you'll coordinate referrals from funders through to our provider network, support the day-to-day administration of service contracts, and ensure approvals, reporting and key processes are completed accurately and on time. You'll be a trusted connection point for funders, providers, clients and our internal teams, using your judgement to resolve issues, elevate where needed and keep service delivery moving.

What makes this Senior role different is the opportunity to contribute beyond day-to-day coordination. Working closely with our Contracts and Performance Managers (CPMs), you'll support the effective management and performance of service contracts, including quality monitoring, provider audits and contract KPIs. You'll also be a key source of support, guidance and training for the Service Delivery Coordinator team on portfolio-related matters, helping build capability and consistency across the team. Alongside this, you'll contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives, looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working and making a broader contribution to how our services perform and evolve.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Active + National Support Office in the Auckland CBD.

  • Previous experience in health administration, service delivery or coordination, ideally within the New Zealand healthcare environment.
  • A sharp eye for detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work effectively with providers, funders and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with sound judgement around when to resolve an issue and when to elevate.
  • An interest in quality, performance and continuous improvement, with the ability to support monitoring, audits and contract KPI activities.
  • The confidence to share knowledge and support other coordinators across the team.
  • Confidence using Gensolve or similar healthcare systems, as well as modern business software and digital platforms.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively and be effective in a hybrid working environment.
  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • A qualification in business administration or a health-related discipline would be an advantage.
  • Confidence to take ownership and accountability for your work and see tasks through to completion.
  • Confidence working across systems, processes and technology, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Competitive Rewards: Attractive remuneration package and relocation allowance
  • Health & Wellbeing: Funded health insurance and a comprehensive wellbeing programme
  • Flexibility & Growth: Flexible working arrangements
  • Perks & Community: Discounts from a range of partners and the opportunity to join our Employee Network.
