Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a thoughtful senior analyst to join Transformation Risk & Assurance. You will bring solid experience in risk management within delivery and help turn complex portfolio data into clear insights.

You will lead portfolio risk reporting, provide actionable recommendations, and partner with delivery, business, risk and assurance teams to strengthen governance and decision making. This role offers hybrid work options with ideally Auckland-based work, opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Proven experience applying risk management in a change or delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of programme delivery, governance and delivery decisions.
• Proven analytical and critical thinking across multiple information sources.
• Confident in applying sound judgement and prioritising through ambiguity.
• Confident in providing constructive challenge and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, reporting and recommendation skills.
• Experienced in building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficient in analysing and presenting information using Excel and Power BI.
• Proficient in responsibly applying AI, automation and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio level risk reporting and analysis across Transformation portfolio.
• Identify emerging themes, trends and root causes, translate analysis into insights and recommendations.
• Support governance forums and senior leaders with concise executive commentary and evidence-based decision support.

Bring clarity to complex portfolio risk. You will lead portfolio level risk reporting and analysis across Kiwibank's Transformation portfolio, connecting information on delivery risk, programme risk transition states, issue remediation and control uplift. You will identify emerging themes, trends and root causes, translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations, and provide constructive challenge to strengthen risk management practices. You will support governance forums and senior leaders with concise executive commentary, actionable recommendations and evidence-based decision support. You will also build trusted relationships across programme, delivery, business, risk and assurance teams, while supporting proportionate assurance planning and reporting.

For this role we're looking for a thoughtful and influential senior analyst with risk and/or delivery experience who can turn complex information into clear insight. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

• Proven experience applying risk management in a change or delivery environment
