Job summary

ASB Bank in Auckland is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Risk Capability & Change to lead the non-financial risk change agenda across our Risk Capability & Change team.

You’ll blend change delivery, communication and capability building to translate risk requirements into practical outcomes. You’ll partner with sponsors and senior leaders to shape decisions and support adoption, learning, and capability growth across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong change management capabilities and track record delivering end-to-end initiatives.
• Sound understanding of change management fundamentals, methodologies and tools.
• Ability to translate complex risk requirements into practical change, communication and capability outcomes.
• Understanding non-financial risk and the role of risk management in organisations.
• Experience supporting business readiness, adoption and sustainable embedding of change.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including learning materials and communications.

Responsibilities

• Translate risk requirements into practical change, communication and capability outcomes.
• Build risk capability, literacy and confidence through targeted learning and coaching.
• Partner with sponsors and senior leaders to understand change impacts and shape decisions.
• Support adoption and the sustainable embedding of non-financial risk change.
• Lead the development and delivery of learning materials for risk capability.
