Job summary

Rabobank New Zealand Limited seeks a Manager, Regulatory Change to lead the regulatory change management framework and provide expert guidance across the bank. You will collaborate with leaders to ensure new and changing obligations are identified and addressed with effective oversight.

The role requires navigating a complex NZ regulatory environment, with responsibilities spanning policy development, stakeholder engagement and regulatory reporting to senior management and the Board.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in compliance, risk, or audit in financial services.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Economics, Business, or Law.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand regulatory environment.
• Experience with privacy, AML/CTF, sanctions and prudential requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide constructive challenge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory change and adherence process, ensuring developments are identified and assessed.
• Strengthen the Regulatory Change and Adherence Management Framework.
• Provide guidance to obligation owners and implementation leads to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain oversight of obligation registers and attestation processes.
• Coordinate with Legal and Regulatory Affairs on emerging developments.
• Develop and maintain policies and processes supporting regulatory compliance.
• Prepare insightful regulatory change reporting for senior management and the Board.
• Support training and capability-building initiatives.
• Represent NZ Compliance in regional and global regulatory change projects.
• Build relationships across Rabobank NZ, Regional Compliance and external providers.
