Job summary

Rabobank New Zealand in Hamilton seeks an experienced Manager, Regulatory Change to lead regulatory change and adherence across the bank. You will own the regulatory change framework, coordinate with Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and provide guidance to obligation owners to ensure timely, compliant implementation.

In this senior role you will partner with senior stakeholders and the Board, monitor prudential obligations, and develop policies and reporting to support governance across Rabobank

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Confidence influencing stakeholders and challenging decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory change and adherence process, ensuring regulatory developments are identified, assessed, and tracked across the business.
• Strengthen the Regulatory Change and Adherence Management Framework.
• Provide expert guidance to obligation owners and implementation leads for timely, quality delivery.
• Maintain oversight of obligation registers, including prudential obligations, and coordinate attestation processes.
• Partner with Legal and Regulatory Affairs to monitor emerging regulatory developments and support organisational response.
• Develop and maintain policies, standards, procedures and processes supporting regulatory compliance.
• Prepare clear, insightful regulatory change reporting for senior management, governance committees and the Board.
• Support training and capability-building initiatives across the organisation.
• Represent New Zealand Compliance in regional and global regulatory change projects.
• Build strong relationships across Rabobank New Zealand, Regional Compliance, Group Compliance and external service providers.
