Wing Tai Fashion is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across infrastructure projects in Christchurch and Queenstown. You will handle estimating, planning, cost control, and reporting while driving value for clients through proactive cost management.

The role requires extensive experience in cost estimating, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex projects.
• 7+ years project experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ Cost X.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors.
• Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities.
• Estimating and Cost Planning.
• Tender evaluations and analysis.
• Cash flow projections.
• Procurement.
• Cost reporting.
• Evaluation of variations.
• Payment recommendations.
• Final account reporting.
• Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims.
